Avianca connects Bogota with Tulum

The unique beauty of Tulum, located in Mexico's Riviera Maya, is now closer than ever for the locals in Colombia. Avianca has announced a new route that will directly connect Bogota with this wonderful destination, expanding its flight network and offering access to more than 75 destinations in the Americas and Europe. This connection, which will begin operating on December 10, 2024, will be the perfect bridge between the Colombian capital and the dazzling shores of the Mexican Caribbean.

With this new direct route between Bogota and Tulum, Avianca will offer three weekly frequencies: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. The flights will be operated in Airbus A320 aircraft, with capacity for 180 passengers, which represents an offer of more than 1,000 seats per week between both destinations. This expansion not only increases connectivity options for travelers, but also strengthens the tourist offer of Tulum, considered one of the most impressive jewels of the Riviera Maya.

Tulum is not just a tourist destination, it is a complete experience that combines history, nature and culture in one place. Among the main attractions are the imposing Kukulcan Castle, an important vestige of the Mayan culture; the crystalline waters of Playa Paraiso, ideal for relaxation; and the Sian Ka'an National Park, a perfect natural sanctuary for ecotourism lovers.

In addition, Tulum is famous for its events and festivals, which celebrate natural phenomena, such as the spring equinox, when the sun magically illuminates the interior of the Kukulcan Castle. These types of unique experiences make Tulum a must-see destination for travelers seeking a combination of relaxation, adventure and culture.
