Cancun Airport with more number of flights and connections!

In 2024, Mexico has 34.8 million international seats scheduled, a 1.9% increase from 2023. The airlines with the highest participation are American Airlines and Aeroméxico. Cancún, Mexico City, and Guadalajara are the airports with the most scheduled seats.

According to the Southeast Airport Group (ASUR), which manages Cancún Airport, there will be an investment of 21.477 billion pesos to expand and improve airport infrastructure through 2028 to meet the growing demand of travelers. This investment plan reflects confidence in the region's continuous growth potential, allocating 75% of its 2024-2028 investment budget to Cancún.

Cancún Airport's success is related with the increase in tourism in the region. Gerardo Herrera, an aviation expert and academic at the Universidad Iberoamericana, notes that "the airport operated by ASUR shows generally efficient management. The administration is executing expansion projects in anticipation of increased demand".

Scheduled Flights: Out of the 499 scheduled flights, 251 are arrivals and 248 are departures. Among these, 346 are international flights, highlighting Cancún's importance as a global destination. Additionally, there will be connections to domestic destinations, with 78 arrivals and 75 departures to and from various cities in Mexico.
